TSM Design Studio — EVIE in development

TSM / DESIGN STUDIO

From pencil
to possibility.

Exploring EVIE through sketch, surface and testing.

A visual guide to the proposed development process.

01 / SKETCH & PROPORTION

Character starts on paper.

Pencil sketches make ideas quick to compare. Notes and construction lines help explore EVIE’s upright cabin, compact footprint, friendly lamps and recognisable TSM details before committing to physical surfaces.

02 / CLAY & SURFACE

Give the idea a shape.

A styling clay model would let designers assess volume, reflections and proportions at physical scale, refining surfaces by hand. Clay is a design tool; it does not determine the material used for the production body.

Colour, finish and composite studies.

Painted surface samples and, where appropriate, composite styling bucks or moulded panels would help compare colour, texture and panel transitions. The image includes colour samples as an illustration of that work; EVIE’s production materials and tooling are not yet specified.

03 / AERODYNAMICS

Understand the air.

Digital airflow studies and wind-tunnel work would help assess drag, cooling, wind noise and how the shape behaves in moving air. Findings would feed back into the design, alongside packaging and engineering requirements.

04 / ENGINEERING & VALIDATION

A design has to work.

The development programme would also need to address occupant protection, visibility, lighting, durability, weather sealing, service access and road-use requirements. Physical prototypes and testing would inform the design before any production commitment.

These images show an intended design journey. They are AI-generated illustrations, not evidence of completed clay modelling, tooling, aerodynamic tests or vehicle approval.
